VANS + FAT TIRE COLLAB VIDEO
I teamed up with the crew at Kamp Grizzly on a wild Vans x Fat Tire collab,
part gritty, part playful, all energy.
I handled the project end-to-end, from designing the initial style frames to animating custom
motion assets and seamlessly bringing everything together in the final edit. This full-scope approach
ensured a cohesive visual language carried through every stage of production.
THE ASK
The goal was to create motion assets and a full video edit for a
Vans x Fat Tire hype piece - something that felt as raw and playful as the collaboration itself.
The video needed to capture both brands’ energy, blending Vans’ skate-inspired grit with Fat Tire’s laid-back, adventurous vibe. My task was to design and animate custom motion elements that amplified that spirit and then bring it all together in a polished edit that could live across social and digital channels.
STYLE FRAMES
I designed these style frames in Photoshop with the goal of exploring a mixed media look,
a style that has always caught my eye for its texture and layered personality.
By blending photography, illustration, and graphic elements, I was able to create compositions that felt both tactile and contemporary. The process was as much about experimentation as it was about design: playing with cutout textures, overlaying brushwork, and testing how different mediums interacted in a single frame. The result was a set of visuals that carried a sense of depth and handmade imperfection while still aligning with a clear, digital finish.
