PORT OF PORTLAND: CATHAY PACIFIC CARGO

I led this animated project from concept to execution. I storyboarded, illustrated, animated, and sound designed for this project.

THE ASK

To create an ad that would bring awareness to the fact that you can

ship products directly to Asia with Cathay Pacific quickly and safely (Hong Kong and Beyond).

DELIVERABLES

The final deliverables for this project were social-ready video ads for both Facebook and Instagram as well as digital banner ads.

STYLE FRAMES

For this piece of content I tried pushing my stylistic boundaries. I used a lot more texture in an attempt to replicate the effect of analog mediums in a digital space. I created two separate color stories, exploring the tone and mood whilst complying with the client’s brand guidelines. The client was incredibly excited with the style frames that were presented.

STORYBOARDS

For this execution I wanted to create a concept that utilized dynamic transitions and interesting camera angles.

The main goal was to visually represent the fluidity and ease with which companies could ship from PDX to Asia.
